Happy summer!
I wanted to discuss something interesting for all those market nerds like me.
I also listed three great books for the summer; if you see one you like, I will send you a copy.
Remember back in January when I wrote about global credit? (This has been a common theme for years in my emails)
The European Central Bank is possibly announcing more credit stimulus, more coal for the furnace, please! Federal Reserve will likely lower interest rates in July, which loosens credit.
The People's Bank of China has been injecting monetary easing (adding credit) into its currency all spring. Could you wait for it?
If all three above coordinate to inject stimulus, we fix the trade war. We could have a very robust stock market rally.
Anyway, on to the books.
The 100-Year Marathon is unique; if you want to read about how China thinks, this is for you.
Charleston Fancy is by award-winning author Witold Rybcynski; it covers a lot of downtown Charleston and its architects. It is a short read but very good.
Area 51, I couldn't put down. I love a good secret spy book; you will not be disappointed. Annie Jacobsen has all the de-classified stories of Area 51 and interviews of people who worked there.
The links below are for Amazon; you can read each book's first couple of pages—more emails to come with exciting explanations of what I am doing for you.
Happy reading.
